About
Mari played tennis for nearly 20 years... She played high-level tennis leading up to college and received a scholarship to play for Winthrop University and then the University of Louisville...She's been in Louisville ever since. Mari started playing pickleball a little over a year ago with some friends...She quickly fell in love with the sport and started playing more and more.... She registered for her first local tournament just weeks after she started playing... Mari played her first pro tournament about 4 months after she started playing. Mari is from Sao Paulo, Brazil, and her entire family still lives there.... Her first language is Portuguese but she learned English at a very young age..... She loves playing sports and being active in general and really enjoy watching sports as well.... Her favorite sports are tennis, basketball, and soccer..... In her free time, she enjoy hanging out with her friends and watching TV shows.
