Attended the University of Michigan….Played a ton of sports growing up (soccer, lacrosse, basketball, gymnastics, etc) but started focusing on just tennis in eighth grade…. Played tennis for Michigan and then played professionally for a few years (reaching top 500 in the world in both singles and doubles)....She used to compete in horseback riding competitions. Kate still enjoys riding whenever she can find a stable…. Has a younger brother named Matt and two parents, Tom and Elena. Her boyfriend of four years is named Charlie…..Kate got into pickleball when her coworker asked he if she wanted to play in a local tournament one summer. Ever since she has been hooked on pickleball.
