Eugenie “Genie” Bouchard is a professional tennis player from Montreal, Canada. Born on February 25, 1994, Bouchard began playing tennis at a young age and quickly dominated the junior tennis rankings. At a tennis career high, Bouchard ranked World No. 5 in October 2014. Her tennis resume is stellar, after becoming a semi-finalist in the Australian Open and the French Open in 2013, she also made it to Wimbledon as a finalist in 2013, finishing runner-up to Petra Kvitová. In addition to that incredible achievement, she also became the first Canadian-born player to reach the final of a major singles tournament. Now, she’s taking her tennis skills to the pro pickleball court. While she’s just getting started, Bouchard is quickly improving and competing against the top players in pickleball.
