Grew up in Laytonsville, MD, the oldest of seven (five sisters and brother, Ben - Seattle Pioneers)... Played baseball (ages 6-16), before discovering tennis at 13 and competing professionally for five years… Assistant coach of collegiate tennis for FGCU… Helped guide the Eagles to the 2019 Atlantic Sun Conference division title and NCAA tournament… Began playing pickleball in 2018 and made his debut at the 2019 US Open… Regular doubles partner of younger brother, Ben Johns, earning 24 professional titles together to date, including consecutive US Open crowns (2021/2022) and the 2022 USAP National Championships… Co-owner and founder of Pickleball 360 and My Pickleball Coach.
